My Writing Process
First, I read and drew insights from books like Fanatical Prospecting written by Jeb Blount to understand the topic. Next, I used search strings like “state of [sales prospecting], future of [b2b sales prospecting]” to gather reports from Google. I watched lots of podcasts on YouTube for insights.

This led me to perspectives of renowned sales experts like Anthony Natoli, senior Account Executive of LinkedIn. I dug through previous posts of reputable sales leaders at Lemlist and Belkins. I used experts’ insights from my past interviews to polish the post.

I checked sites like Reddit and Quora for relevant information. I thought critically on how to string these points to form a coherent piece. I took my time. I didn’t rush the process. All these processes culminated in having it rank on Google’s 1st page after a week of publishing.

My Writing Process

First, I reached out to some experts on Slack channels where I could find experts who had real-life experiences with the topic. Next, I interviewed experts like Keith Brooks and Cesar Sarapka who answered my questions and gave me fresh perspectives on the topic.

I also reached out to ColdIQ’s internal team, most especially Dan, who provided valuable answers for the post. How would I have thought one could use intent signals to follow up, if not for Dan?

I dug into the previous posts of notable sales experts like Linda Lian of Common Room to discover insights about intent signals. I watched lots of podcast interviews on YouTube. Amazingly, people like Matt Curl of Apollo and Rob Harlow of Sopro shared their real-life experiences.
